What I’m most proud of in my life are my kids. They are the most courageous people I know. They are the smartest people I know. I learn from them daily. They have showed me what unconditional love is. ❤️
Sometimes as parents we worry so much about the little things, like what brand formula to use when they are babies to how much televion time is ok when they’re older. But you know what? In the end all that doesn’t matter.
Sometimes as parents we completely miss the mark on the “Mom of the year” award 🥇 🥈 🥉 We get tired and grumpy. We feel undervalued. We feel stretched too thin. We beat ourselves up for not being that perfect mom in the car in front of us.
What’s important is this. Can we honestly look at ourselves and and ask “Did I do my best?” If you know you did the best that you could have in the situation, then that’s all that they ask. So many times I have wished I would have —— fill in the blank. However, when I honestly look back, I know I truly did my best. Then I hug them and tell them I love them. While thanking the universe for allowing me to be their mother when I was so unworthy because they make my world a better place.
